We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Human Resources Officer to lead the school's end-to-end recruitment and support a positive, compliant and people-centred working environment.

About the Role
As Human Resources Officer, you will be the driving force behind attracting, selecting and welcoming outstanding teaching and support staff. You will own the complete recruitment cycle, from workforce planning to onboarding, while acting as a clear, approachable and professional point of contact for candidates, staff and leadership. Excellent communication is at the heart of this role.


Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle for teaching, administrative and support roles.
    • Work with leadership to plan staffing needs ahead of each academic year.
    • Write and publish job adverts across the school website, job boards and international recruitment platforms.
    • Screen applications, shortlist candidates and coordinate interviews, lesson observations and assessments.
    • Prepare offer letters and contracts and manage negotiations professionally.
    • Build a strong talent pipeline and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and fairs.


    Safer Recruitment & Compliance

    • Apply safer recruitment practices in line with British international school standards.
    • Obtain and verify references, qualifications, police checks and right-to-work documentation.
    • Maintain an accurate Single Central Record (SCR) of staff checks.
    • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labour Law and Ministry of Education requirements.


    Onboarding, Visas & Relocation

    • Coordinate work visas, iqamas, medical checks and government processes (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem).
    • Support international hires with relocation, arrival and settling-in arrangements.
    • Plan and deliver a structured induction programme for all new staff.


    Communication & Employee Relations

    • Act as the first point of contact for candidates and staff on HR matters.
    • Communicate clearly and promptly with applicants throughout the hiring process.
    • Draft HR letters, policies, staff announcements and internal communications.
    • Support leadership with employee relations, wellbeing initiatives and staff retention.


    HR Administration & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate staff records and HR systems (including Odoo).
    • Manage contracts, renewals, leave records and probation reviews.
    • Prepare recruitment and staffing reports for the Headmaster and leadership team.


    Qualification

    • Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Preferred: CIPD, SHRM or equivalent professional HR certification; Safer Recruitment training.


    Experience

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on recruitment.
    • Proven experience managing international recruitment.
    • Experience in an international school or education sector is a strong advantage.

    Working Conditions

    • Based at the Aldenham Prep Riyadh campus (Sunday to Thursday).
    • Occasional extended hours during peak recruitment periods and staff arrival.
